Local mental health services for children and young people
There are a number of free local mental health services to support children and young people.
The Halton CAMHS Health & Wellbeing Service support children and young people up to age 18 with their emotional, mental health and wellbeing, providing services for a range of issues such as eating disorders, depression, stress & anxiety, and self-harm. If you need support outside these hours, you can contact the CAMHS Response Team every day until 9pm, on 01744 627 618.
Kooth is a free, safe and anonymous emotional health and wellbeing online support for young people. You can speak to someone online by visiting www.kooth.com.

Widnes & Runcorn Cancer Support Group provides support for young people and families that have or are currently dealing with cancer. If you have a child or young person within your family whose life has been touched by cancer contact Children's support services or call: 0151 423 5730.
Children’s Specialist Community Services
Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of specialist therapy, neurodevelopmental nursing and paediatric services. The list of services available can be found on their website under the Children’s section: http://bridgewater.nhs.uk/halton/.
As of 1 April 2020, the following services are now provided by St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust:
